A/C book

Illustrated

I met with my child, and my child asked me-
"What must I do to receive your love?

"Must I make that goal?"
I said "No my child."

"Must I get that grade?
I said "No my child."

"Must I be kind to my siblings?"
I said "No my child."

"Then what must I do?"

"You must only Be."
"My love (My hugs, my communication, my encouragement, my support) will always be there for you."

(In some way show or tell how most/many parents do not express this message in action)

Video, Parenting, Personal growth as an adult

Parents teach a child how to cook for him/herself-  All wrong-  the meals are horrible but the child is accustomed to them.  The child progresses to an adult and the adult cooks horrible meals for themselves.  This child knows the meals they make are horrible (they react with faces when they eat it):  "I don't want to live like this!".

Pan to other houses and see people cooking varying degrees of palatable meals for themselves (some meals are just plain rotted).  Some don't realize that what they're cooking is horrible.  One person breaks down, kills him/herself.  Another breaks down and (in time with work) finds out that they need to change their cooking, and does so.

Theory, Video, - Space-Time as having a Non-neutral Pitch -

Theory regarding nature of the universe's space-time per "gravity" and "dark energy";
also Theory on the beginning of the universe per "Big Bang".

-"Dark energy" as a structural characteristic of space, rather than a "force"-

The common belief is that space-time has a neutral curvature, and that matter warps space towards it, creating 3-d dimples in space.

This simple theory is that space-time, in the "absence" of matter, does not have a neutral curvature, but has a "positive" curvature.  This can be imagined as a drum that is pitched upwards in its center rather than being flat.  I'll be using the drum analogy for the rest of this post.

So, the drum, instead of "resting" flat, "rests" at a "shallow" "peak".

Mass causes depressions in the skin; these counter the natural space-time pitch, and if the concentration of depressions is great enough, the pitch of space-time will on average become "negative".    As the mass of the universe has spread out, the strength of influence of the natural pitch of space time has, on average, net increased, thereby accelerating the expansion (of the universe).

Per "Big Bang" -

Mass collected prior to the Big Bang.  As it all collected at one point, the skin of space-time became more and more warped.

As the skin became warped it exerted a counter-force that exerted resistance to the stretching, similar to a real drum skin.

At a certain point, the skin of space-time snapped back, and furthermore much further than its natural pitch, "blowing out" the collected mass and energy in a relatively short amount of time.

Video

Synopsis:

A person feels that the straps holding them down give him/her protection and warmth- comfort, when they give none of this other than superficially - their main effect is to bind the person in place.

Act:

A psychiatrist is giving a tour for other psychiatrists in a psych. ward.

Beginning scene is the group of psychiatrists in a hallway approaching a room (they all have white lab coats).

"Here is a classic (form) of insanity"
Enter room.
A patient is in a chair, with only underwear on in a cool room.  The patient has multiple brown leather straps holding them down and is applying or tightening one of the straps.  There is a slight area of darkness around the patient.  Beyond this (halo) of darkness, the room is brighter and vibrant.

"The patient believes that they need these straps; that they provide (him/her) with safety and warmth.  No measure of reason will convince (him/her) otherwise."

Warm clothes, good food, (other) are in the brighter zone of the room.

"Applying variables to challenge (their) belief, only makes (them) tighten their straps or apply more."

"Observe,"
Orderlies start removing the straps and the patient starts to panic.  At the end of strap removal the patient starts to scream.  Two orderlies carry (him/her) by the shoulders, dress them in warm clothes, and carry them into a setting of happy people laughing and eating dinner at a (longer) table, the patient screaming the whole time.

After forced to sit at the table with a beautiful meal in front of them for a short period of time, the patient scrambles over the table, runs back to the dark chair and begins to frantically strap themselves back in.

"Fascinating" comments one of the other psychiatrists and the group leaves the room as the patient continues restrapping (him/herself).

Video, Animation, Snowball-effect of unhealthy thoughts

Simple Animation.

(Needs a title)

Energetic emotions are at the top of a snowy hill; each is a little stick figure.  A little snowball is at the top of the hill.  The snowball is labeled as Unhealthy Thought.  One of the stick figures uses a stick, labeled Personal Choice, as leverage to dislodge the snowball.  After it begins to roll down the hill, the snowball grows and becomes Unhealthy Thoughts, and eventually Unhealthy Thoughts and Strategies.  After the snowball starts growing in size traveling down the hill it starts destroying things:  Healthy Thoughts, Healthy Habits, Family Relationships, A Healthy Life.

Video, Animation/Claymation

"Conversation"

2 claymations come together.  The don't speak other than maybe saying "I" or "You".

#1 puts a shovel in itself or in a pile behind it and presents the jumble of contents (small boxes and other shapes with multiple colors), on the shovel, which includes the letter I (which is prominent within the pile) to the other claymation, #2.

The other examines everything (including picking up) then presents its own shovel-full, which has some similarities to #1's, also with an "I" on top.

Repeat multiple times.

Every now and then #1 and #2 take one of the random colored shapes from the other's shovel and puts it in their body, or their pile.

Next Part:

#1 presents shovel-fulls over and over, not giving #2 any time to "present".  In time #2 just stands there, and slowly fades into invisible while #1 keeps presenting.

Next Part:

#1 presents with "I", while #2 presents with "You" (You on his shovel-fulls).  #2 shovels his shovel-fulls onto #1, piling the "loads" on top of #1.  Eventually #1 can't present anymore, and soon all that is seen is #1's blinking eyes.

Video, Living in the Present

A "happy beaty" music as background.

Features a joker-type character labeled "Being" on one side and "Living" on the other dancing about and being present around another person.  The other person is one go-go-going in "modern life", doing whatever, especially walking.

Expansion:  The joker dancing about people; start with the man walking*;  Then the joker dancing about and with a happy female.  The joker, dancing, approaches a person and they run, hiding their head.

(Needs further addition.)

P.R. (Paul Ryan) Stands for Public Relations

R.P. (Rand Paul) Stands for Real Pain- For the status quo in Government

Video, Possible Animation, Could be made into a simple flash game

Relatively fun music (a step rhythm).

A person* is walking down an asphalt or sidewalky path, periodically quickly surmounting challenges.  Along the path are "protesters"- some are holding signs and saying things intended to impede and destroy the walker- and it's obvious that these statements/other are from the "mind" - others are saying postitive, supportive things**.

The person at first pulling random protesters to walk behind him/her.  The "negative" protesters in the group throw things between the person's legs and lasso and pull the person back.  The "positive" protesters help the person by giving them water, giving them boosts over some challenges, and pushing them (not too hard) from behind.

The person has more "negative" protesters the first go and doesn't make t through the first challenge; just step walks in place.  Reset/  The next go the person grabs a 50/50 ratio;  makes it past the first challenge, and is stopped at the 2nd.  Reset/  This time the person picks more "positive" protesters and makes it very far but eventually the "positives" can't quite get the person over/through a challenge.  The person backs up and brings in more "positives", and kicks out some primary "negatives" and the new group practically throws the person over that challenge and others.

-Challenges are labeled (somewhat) and sets of "protesters" correspond (somewhat) to the challenges.

*The person always has a pleasant, happy, peaceful expression.

** Some examples of "Positives" and "Negativity":  Love, Humility, The true value of Enlightened Altruism,
                                                                              Ego, Pride, Materialism.

Video, Animation

Using simple animation, illustrate the idea that, in the theory of "to be happiest, give to others", one must follow a sequence.  Step 1 is take care of oneself (make and keep oneself happy and healthy), Step 2 is care for others.  Some skip Step 1, going straight to Step 2, messing up themselves, and overall not giving the net amount and quality of contribution that they could have.

Note:

Some children see a truly happy parent giving so much that, without proper instruction (that the parent has first gone through significant work as part of Step 1), they wrongly learn that they should disregard themselves developmentally, give to others, and that this is will, in the long-term, provide happiness.

Some parents simply teach that a person should disregard themselves totally (developmentally and in The Present) and use giving as the means to happiness.

Product, Design

A design that makes for ultra-lightweight products/building blocks.

The basic design is a light-weight, sturdy but flexible framework as the "bones, with honeycombed material surrounding and connecting to the framework to create the "bulk" of the main "shape" of the product.  The honeycombs must be filled with helium.

Idea for production:  A massive 3-d printer housed in a sealed "room" filled with helium.  The printer uses neoprene rubber as its ink, and prints both the honeycombed structure and the "bones" of the product.  The honeycombs have relatively very thin walls.  The end product is sealed within and without (inner and outer "walls") with a relatively thicker layer of neoprene.

Video, Animation

Cartoony animation featuring a teacher in school, labeled Life, and students belonging to different grade levels.  Some students move between grade levels.

Students are tested in each "grade" level.  Each test is labeled "Benchmark X,Y,Z, etc".  Passing the test is obvious to the viewer of the video.  Some students pass at the first try, others fail one or more times; still others continually fail.  Every time a student fails, Life tries to show the student what they did wrong.  Some students listen and change their ways, while others pay no attention to Life's instruction and keep failing.

Video, Animated "Television" Show

Conan O'brian is a superhero, who came from another planet.  On this other planet "Geekoids" ruled over "Dumbasses".  Conan was transported to this world and has super powers.  He moonlights as a talk-show host, and at other times fights "dumbasses" on our planet (businesses doing destructive things to the planet and society, politicians using their positions selfishly and destructively.

Product, Building climate control

A water circulation system for a house or building with a cooling system on the top of the system (where applicable), and a heating system on the bottom of the system (where applicable).

All made with relatively low-cost material.

Tubing from top to bottom is low-heat-conductivity and insulated.

Tubing from bottom to top has high heat conductivity and has fractal fanning with conductive material (similar to a radiator, but with "branching").

Heating and cooling units have to be in-line at vertical segments.

System is embedded within the outer walls.

The priority is a continual circular movement through the system, with the cooler water traveling to the bottom of the system, and the warmer water traveling to the top of the system.

Lesson for Life Wisdom, Being vs working for an end "Prize"

(This needs extrapolation and editing/change.  I'm not satisfied with how it currently is.)

Lesson:

Have an activity that the participant enjoys.  The participant does this activity;  in order to get a small prize, the participant must complete the activity in under a certain amount of time.

The lesson clock/time is a random time within a 50% (of the maximum time) variance (10 -> 20 min, 20 ->40 min).  The participant can look at the clock, if they wish, after 50% of the minimum of the lesson time range (10 -> 20m can check time at 5 minutes).  If the time runs out on the lesson, the participant doesn't get the "prize" at the end.

After the time has expired the participant rates the overall and average happiness/contentment/enjoyment of doing the activity, and the happiness/contentment/enjoyment he/she attained from getting the prize.

(After every "exercise" the participant gives "joy" ratings of the activity and getting the prize.)

In following exercises, the activity is changed to be incrementally less and less enjoyable, and the prize is changed to be more and more rewarding.

(I believe that the more a person is able to have happiness, or joy in whatever the activity, and whatever the "prize", the more they are a master of life.  This "lesson" is an attempt to teach this idea.)

"Top ten foreign interventionist actions by the United States Government"

-All represented in fun, Elmer Fudd-esque animation

Introduction (by a pleasantly-voiced commentator):

This, by a country that is bordered by harmless Canadians, basically harmless Mexico, and water, which is probably the most threatening of the three (see hurricanes).

Video, Social, Visual

Summary of Idea:

When a ("crime", "wrong against another") is committed in a community, word travels about the ("crime"/other) through the community, and cracks form in the community, representing fear, judgement, anger, and a sense of unease.  The community must then come closer together to form and and reform, and strengthen, the bonds that strengthen and create the community.

In today's world, through the vehicle of mass-popular-news, the frequency of impacts of the news of new ("crimes"/other) is overwhelming, resulting in fractured and destroyed communities.

Representation of Idea:

Visual of a hammer striking ice, creating cracks in the ice, radiating from the impact point.  The ice is shown to condense, or "push together" (use of computer graphics), and when it un-condenses, it's much stronger.

For the next visual there are multiple hammer strikes, and the ice doesn't have time to heal.

Video

A person is driving a vehicle.  White knuckling and driving into all sorts of hazards.  A person behind them (in the vehicle) is training them to drive and at some point says "just let go"; Conversation: "Really?" (driver showing fear and anxiety because letting go is scary)  "Yeah".

The person lets go and the vehicle drives much more smoothly.

(Needs elaboration)

Video, Animation

A pilot of a space ship is traversing space, with his space ship (duh).  His compass points the way of Love, of living for others, (insert other).  He chooses the way of doing things for himself, ego, materialism, (other).  Perhaps he has a uniform that is labeled Ego.

At times he consults the compass;  usually he takes control of the steering and his path is fraught with problems.  He starts consulting the compass more, and his trip gets smoother.  In time he connects the steering system directly to the compass, sits back, puts his hands over his head, and smiles.  The trip becomes wonderful.

Video, Comedy

A person walks down a sidewalk through a community.  In everyone's back yards are (the old record players with the speaker "tubes").

When a person approaches a house (in the action of passing it), the owner inside the house sees them, runs out to the back yard, and starts cranking their record player.  Each record player plays a different dog barking.

The future of humanity vs replacing ourselves out from the future -  an edited free-write

Basic Premise:

I think that in the near future, i.e., around 50 years from now, we (the human race) should start concerning ourselves with the threat of destroying our future as a species through replacing ourselves in general, with our creations which are more efficient.

Elaboration and Extrapolation:

Of course we have already done so in certain areas- robotics; the simple and complex computer, the internet (replacing, or an attempt to replace significant pieces of culture); the internet search engine; "Wal-Mart"'s.  But I say in general, because I speak to beyond us using "tools in humanity's tool-belt".  I speak to a time and a situation when we are no longer the future; when our creations truly take over- become the progeny and inheritors of the potential of the human race, rather than humans.

We will continue towards this future as we follow our greed; our sloth, or drive for greater productivity; our quest for more power; for greater protection.  Of course these things will start with the miracle of creation from the mind- that is fundamental to our species, but the in-general implementation will come from greed, etc.

We have created so many things that are simply better at doing their jobs than we are, that I think it's hard to not admit that every task we might put ourselves to, can be more efficiently done by other things.  So where does this end?  A time when our creations think for us, act for us (in almost all ways), make war for us, colonize the cosmos for us?  I think in this end we see our race slowly whither away- no great apocolypse of a human / robot war, but a slow whithering away of a species such as the body whithers away when given a wheelchair / crutch.

Is there a way to keep us from going down this path?  I don't think there is.  I think it will happen- we will fundamentaly and truly replace ourselves; our greed, and other character-traits, will drive us inevitably.  I think there is no use to attempt to get off this progression- through doing so we may delay it, but I think that is all.  I feel it is man's fate to destroy himself, and that our measure of achievement is the length of time before we do so.

In free-writing this, an answer has occured to me- that a solution may lie not from without, but from within.  If it is man's fate, given what man is, to destroy himself, then there may be hope in changing man; to fight or eliminate greed, sloth, our drive for ever greater and greater productivity, and our quest for more power; to give up our fear that spurs greater and greater protection.  Yes, I think that's the answer-  change ourselves; Change what our species is, or be eliminated.

Given this, I feel the future doesn't look bright as greed owns the present, as capitalism takes over our world.

As I said I think this is something we should be concerned with in the near future, not today.

Showing that we need not just see ourselves in this time speed.  To speed up time to show crowds highly blurred- as true flowing energy/other.  To slow down time greatly- what do we have then?  To make a series surrounding this area.
