Description:

An illustration on how, as we learn, we see what is important- beyond what we initially thought was important.

Idea:

A “quick” animated video of a child progressing into being an older person with a linear progression of him/her traveling down “the rabbit hole” of importance.

Example(s):

Storyboard (a travel down the rabbit hole of importance):

Doing what feels good ->

Doing what is hard to build character ->

Building Character ->

Building character to follow the vision of others ->

Building character to follow one’s own calling, or in other words to use one’s true potential in the world ->

Using personal potential to gain success (money, things, respect) ->

Using personal potential to gain friends and family ->

Having friends and family to have companionship / other things that comfort us ->

Having friends and family to give and receive love ->

Giving and receiving love with any relationship ->

True, selfless, non-ego love (no wish to keep the one(s) we love for ourselves).
Loving with no ego.  Loving with no thought of the self, and no context of relationship.

Confidence:  8

I haven’t given much thought as far as what the video would look like, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to assemble.  I think the value of this, if well made, would be artistically and socially relatively high.
